Live music and a dj?

Our DJs sing and play live music during dinner, and then we DJ the rest of the night. That simple idea is blowing minds. We’ve taken all the negative things we’ve ever heard about DJs and/or bands and thrown them by the way-side, leaving only sweet-buttery biscuity goodness. (Excuse me while I call my Aunt and make sure she’s coming over for thanksgiving again. Mmm biscuits.)

We make sure to announce each event so that everyone knows what’s coming up. An old lady once told me that people don’t mind waiting if they know they’re waiting for something. Ain’t that the truth! We’ll wait for decades if we know there’s cake to be had. And having a candy bar or s’mores while we’re waiting for cake is why guys can love Pinterest without feeling like cotton-headed ninny-muggins.

But wait, there’s more! When I was first getting started, I noticed that if there wasn’t a person leading the line dances, they would bomb. And there aren’t many things sadder than a line dance that awkwardly fizzles. (But that is a fun list to think about.) So from the beginning I learned the newer line dances and made up my own. I don’t mind being the goofy one teaching the dance as long as I get the white people on the floor. :)

Mark is the owner of Exodus Sound, but also the main musician and DJ.

With a lifetime of music experience and 15 years in weddings and countless other events, Mark started this journey to make the most special day in his friend's lives as fun and worry free as possible. Whereas he has the ability to enhance any event, Mark really excels when you want a classy evening of Sinatra, Bublé, John Legend, and Stevie Wonder on a piano during dinner with a crazy dance party after. 

Most people say he's Sinatra meets Timberlake.

We have several musicians on our roster who have the ability to serenade you during dinner and throw down with DJing for the rest of the night.

We also have many specialty musicians for you to hire if you want that extra oomph at your wedding. Whether it’s a cello/violinist duo or a guitarist to play something noteworthy at your ceremony, we’ve got that, and many in between and outside!
